Transact is a unified platform that enables fund managers to provide their investors with a personalized onboarding experience, and review submissions with their admin to close deals quickly.

Transact offers a suite of tools that turn subscription paperwork into intelligent workflows, reducing friction for all stakeholders involved in an investment deal.

For Fund Managers

Fund managers can send their investment documents to AngelList and we’ll create personalized investor onboarding flows that filter out unnecessary fields and validate in real-time. Transact can be configured with custom subscription documents, onshore and offshore feeders, and information update forms for both private equity and venture capital workflows. Once an onboarding flow is created, fund managers can invite their investors to complete the forms via email or by sharing a secure link.

Additionally, fund managers can track investor activity in real-time as they complete their onboarding flow. Once all documents have been reviewed and approved by each party, Transact’s DocuSign integration allows fund managers to collect signatures within the platform and send completed, signed versions of the documents to all involved parties post-transaction.

For Investors

Onboarding with AngelList Transact is a seamless experience for investors. Investors can easily work through the onboarding process in a digital environment where they have the flexibility to start, stop, and resume as time permits. Workflows are personalized for each investor, filtering out unnecessary fields and enabling them to easily identify the information they are required to provide.

As investors onboard, Transact builds a reusable profile that they can leverage to eliminate manual onboarding cycles from future investments. Investors can use our secure platform to manage information, such as licenses and contact data, across multiple investing entities.

For Fund Admins & Lawyers

For third-party stakeholders like fund admins and lawyers, Transact enables fund managers to provision custom dashboards with entity level permissions, creating a centralized platform for secure collaboration.

Transact makes it easy to check investor data submissions and request retries for specific fields, rather than having to search through the entire document. Transact can also store all documents needed for KYC/AML verification checks, and allow third-parties to create workflows on behalf of the fund manager for streamlined compliance.
